What are my Banner Display Option?

Have you ever wondered what choices you have for displaying indoor banners? You are in luck, as there are multiple options in a variety of prices.

The first option is the banner rail. Banner rails are attached to the top and bottom of a banner. The top rail will have some type of hook that allows you to hang the banner from the ceiling. By attaching a second rail to the bottom of the banner for tension, you get a banner that will hang straight and taught.

The second category of systems is the floor stands type and it consists of three distinct types of systems. One type is the L frame system. This consists of a heavy base where the bottom of the banner attaches to and an adjustable pole that lets you customize the height of your banner. This system would not fall into the portable category.

The second choice is the X frame banner display. As the name implies, four plastic rods form an X with hooks on the ends of each. The four corners of the banner each attach to one of the rods. A fifth rod is used to form a tripod stand and set the viewing angle of the banner. This is the most economical of your options.

The last option is the option most recognizable to most users. The retractable banner system allows the banner to be stored inside the carrier and pulled out when needed. Retractable systems are tailor made for portability and are a mainstay of trade shows.

Retractable systems also have many variable associated with them. You need to decide whether you need a light usage system or a heavy usage system. Light systems are significantly less expensive but have lower quality internal components as a result. Heavy duty systems are made of much higher quality inner workings.

Another important factor with retractable systems is how the banner mounts to the system. Almost all systems use a top rail that clamps onto the top of the banner, but how the bottom of the banner is attached is where the choices are.

Many systems use a leader and banner tape to attached your banner to the system. This is fine if you are buying an economical system. The downside is that it is very hard to change banners out once you have the first one in.

Premium systems employ a slide rail mounting system to attach the banner to the retractor. This type of system is very easy to change out, allowing you to use multiple banners with a single retractor.

As long as you know how you plan to use your banner, it is quite easy to find the proper banner display system for your needs.
