The first Ghost series model (Corza Ghost) made some waves on both the tour and retail fronts over the past few months. Justin Rose used the Corza Ghost during his two PGA victories this summer. It has proven an instant success with consumers and Tour professionals worldwide, building massive momentum in the retail marketplace. In four months, the Corza Ghost’s key achievements already include two PGA Tour victories by TMaG Tour Staff professional Justin Rose, first at the Memorial and again at the AT&T National. Corza Ghost has also fueled record-breaking growth for TaylorMade in the putter category; the brand’s 13.1% putter dollar marketshare in July 2010 is the highest total in company history.

TaylorMade Golf will debut the newest member of the Rossa Ghost family. The Rossa Daytona Ghost putter (or a prototype very similar to it) has been out on tour for a while and has been used by the likes of Paula Creamer, Darren Clarke, Scott Verplank and Andres Romero.

Here's TaylorMade on some of the technology behind the Daytona model. "The Rossa Daytona Ghost also has the advantage of Rossa's renowned and tour-proven AGSI®+ (Anti-skid Groove System Insert) Technology. The AGSI+ insert features 14 polymer-filled grooves in the face that "hold" the ball briefly at impact to negate backspin and promote forwardspin for a smoother roll and more accurate results. The AGSI+ insert also delivers superior consistency in forward roll on off-center hits, something not shown in tests of other popular putters."

Features: 1. Contrast of the white head against the green makes it easier to see the topline and target line. 2. Contrast of the three black alignment lines against the white crown makes it easier to aim. 3. Circular hole through the head works with the alignment lines and ball to make it. 4. Two outer alignment lines are one ball-width apart, making it simple to align your ball with the center of the face to promote solid contact. 5. AGSI+ insert negates backspin / promotes forwardspin for better role.

Golfers’review:

“This new Ghost putter is weighted perfectly! I have had it for 1 day & I am very comfortable with it already! Good sightline & great contrast between the green & the Ghost white of the putter! I really like it & would recommend it to all!”

“The white finish really helps line the ball up, and gives you confidence. The feel is not bad either for a putter with an insert.”

“This is a great putter. The contrast of the white putter on the green grass lets you concentrate fully on your putt without any distractions. It is cool. My advice get one now and improve your putting averages.”

“I love this taylormade rossa ghost putter. I was really nervous about replacing my old putter but i am happy I did. And really happy I chose this awesome putter!!”

“This is, I believe, the putter that the Stocktons now use in their 'Signature' putting school series and it is easy to see why. I bought it to see if I could switch to a blade after years with putters like the Taylormade Spider I've been using and loving the past 2 or 3 years - and the Scotty Cameron Futura for years before that. I've bought and tried other blades and all have failed miserably until now. The alignment has turned out to be quite easy and the touch on fairly fast greens - ours are 10+ - is marvelous even on treacherous downhill snakes.”
