Let Your Voice Shine

If you have a pretty voice or are talented with it and have always wished that you would be able to use it to sing and act, I would like to share a story with you about a girl. She had a beautiful voice and used it to do voiceovers on movies and cartoon television.
A singer since six months old, Jennifer had a very unique and highly pitched voice. This was used often to call her mother to pick her out of the bed. Whenever guests were invited they were amazed by her high soprano voice.
Jennifer was heard by her entire town during her childhood years. She was the head of the choir, and her highly pitched soprano voice was absolutely striking.
At the age of ten, Jennifer was really famous. She had made six appearances on the Late Show and never faltered once. Every performance of hers was amazing, and she won numerous contests nationally like America's Got Talent and local music fairs.
However, Jennifer's parents did not feel that continuing on such a path was healthy for Jennifer's childhood, and they wanted her to refrain from pursuing a career at such a young age. As time passed, Jennifer decided that she wanted to pursue her career and leave Wilmington, SC to become the star she should be.
Every producer had rejected her tape saying that yes her voice is beautiful but since it is so high, people will have trouble singing along with it. Jennifer was so down and tried to find a way she could utilize her voice if not singing. She thought for a very long time.
After days of thinking and searching Jennifer found a way that she could use her voice. It was the greatest idea she could think of; it was called a voice over. Jennifer could use her voice over talent to replace very hoarse or not nice sounding voices on the radio, movies, or on television.
This move proved to be a very smart one for Jennifer, as she became a tremendous success. She emerged as one of the most famous voiceovers in America today. |
