You just got a new iPad and do not know how to add a contact to your sumptuous iPad? After reading this tutorial, you will find it very easy to do so. It still has easy-to-find buttons and an intuitive natural feel, but rather than having the screen shunt to the right through each menu, you get nice pop-up boxes that make even more sense than the iPhone ever did. If you’re new to the whole touch concept then this process will be a revelation in simplicity. Not only can you add all the pertinent information you need, but there are cool little extras that make the system very slick and easy to use. The Contacts app will work in both landscape and horizontal mode, but we found that having all that screen real estate was suited better, in this instance, to the horizontal mode. The app is designed to look like an actual physical book and it gives the whole process a cool old-world feel. You can literally feel your way around all of the apps on the iPad, and the Contacts app is no different. Even if you make a mistake, you can go back and edit anything you like over and over again. You can also sync existing contacts from iTunes into the app.

Now let's come to learn how to add a contact to your iPad.

Step 1. Open up the Contacts app from the home screen and then use the plus button. The keyboard will now appear along the bottum of the screen and you can begin entering information and details.

Step 2. A logical place to start is with the person’s first name.

Step 3. to add a photo just tap the add photo’button and your photo albums(the ones you have synced with your iPad from your mac)will appear. Tap on the album you wish to add from.

Step 4. you now have to move and scale the picture you have selected. iPhone users will be used to this;simply use a pinch or reverse pinch of your thumb and index finger to zoom in and out of the picture.

Step 5.once the picture is exactly how you would like it, tap on the Use button in the top-right of the pop-up window. The picture you have selected will now coolly slide into the photo area of the contact form.

Step 6. go through the rest of the form and add as much or as little information as you need. Just tap into a field to edit it and the keyboard will spring up from the bottom of the screen.

Step 7.once you are completely finish adding the contact, you need to hit the Done button at the top of the page to save the changes and return to the main Contacts interface.

Then you have successfully added a contact to your iPad! You can follow this guide to add more contacts.
