Truck Driver - Nashville

Drivers deliver solvents, oil, flammables, combustibles and corrosives via tanker, pneumatic tanker or dry van.  Drivers are required to load and unload trucks by electric pallet jack, forklift, or drum dolly. Drivers work Monday thru Friday with rare weekend work. Shifts start approximately 8:00am. Drivers average 40-50 hours per week. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. Drivers are required to work in the warehouse when no deliveries are necessary, which is approximately 50% of the time. Paid training is provided.

 

$16.37 per hour to start

CDL A 

2 years tractor-trailer experience required

“H” (hazmat) endorsement

“N” (tanker) endorsement or willing to obtain

Tanker experience preferred, but not required

HS Diploma or GED required

Good MVR

No felony or misdemeanor convictions
