QA Tester

QA/ Tester

Stamford Solutions Inc. is seeking QA/Testers for contract positions in the Denver metro area.



Primary responsibilities include the analysis of customer requirements and software design specifications in the form of use case diagrams and scenarios, activity models, process models, interaction diagrams, state diagrams, decision models, dependency diagrams, CRUD matrices and traceability matrices; development and execution of test plans (test cases, test scenarios,

regression tests and automated test scripts) in accordance with the requirements and software design specifications; recording and tracking software defects; evaluation of actual test results against expected test results; and working closely with requirements, development, and customer

personnel to deliver high quality software.



REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Learning new technologies quickly with minimal support and guidance

- Prioritizing work and working on multiple tasks

- Analyzing and solving problems

- Communicating effectively

- Interacting professionally with both clients and peers.

- Multiple years of hands-on manual software testing

- Willingness to take the initiative

- Ability to organize and manage time.



DESIRED SKILLS:

- Programming with automated test concepts and tools including Mercury Interactive Quality Center, SilkTest, SilkPerformer; SOATest; and PL/SQL

- Life cycle development methodologies

- Using #use cases# for requirements

- Being a test lead on integrated product teams (IPTs)

- Supporting customer User Acceptance Test.

- Developing automated test scripts
