Marketing Specialist

What's Your Impact (WYI) is looking for people who want to help sell the idea that climate change is something that we, as individuals, can fix. WYI is an environmental awareness group whose main goal is to inform people about what is going on with global warming and what they can do about it.





WYI is looking for a marketing specialist that will use our website and various other media to convince people that they can take simple steps that will help reduce their impact on the environment. The specialist will be responsible for determining and understanding our target audience and developing our marketing program based on that information.

Job Description:





* Maintain the overall marketing plan as well as manage and coordinate marketing related activities.


* Execute and deliver marketing campaigns that achieve program participation goals.


* Develop the definitions for target customer segments for each campaign.


* Monitor the success of strategies to identify gaps and opportunities for growing the WYI brand.


* Determine marketing objectives as well as the 'call to action' for each campaign.


* Perform marketing analytics, market research and other sales support functions as required.


* Contribute to establishing financial targets and fundraising tracking systems.





Job Requirements:





* Degree and/or experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.


* Organizational and time-management skills are required, including the ability to prioritize and multitask. Ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities. Proven experience in project development and collaboration.


* Self motivated team player with a positive attitude, capable of forming relationships with individuals and WYI members.


* Strong understanding of marketing concepts as well as a proven track record in developing creative marketing campaigns. Online marketing and copywriting experience is an asset.


* Experience in graphic design is an asset.
