Job Description
The Managing Director is a critical member of the firm’s management team. The Managing Director is accountable for all office operations, including revenue generation, staying within budget guidelines, and growing the business, as well as being accountable for the overall success of the office. This individual is the leader of the office and is expected to properly and professionally represent Titus, both internally to our employees as well as externally to our clients, with a passion for client service, strong work ethic, highest integrity and a positive attitude. The Managing Director is responsible for ethical management of employees and ensuring high morale. All employees of the office report to the Managing Director. Specifically, the Sales Directors.
• Business Development Efforts:
• Develop and maintain a relationship with each client.
• Be actively involved in business development efforts along with the Directors (both Practice Area and Client Services).
• Mentor the Directors, Client Services to meet their performance goals and ensure they are using the sales database (salesforce).
• Regularly take part in networking and marketing activities that promote the firm.
• Actively participate in at least one professional organization.
Expectations:
The Managing Director is expected to have strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to build relationships with our clients, the consultants and all other employees. Managing Directors are expected to have a high amount of positive energy and be willing to lead by example. Individuals in this position are to be viewed as a leader by their peers and direct reports. These individuals should be able to travel to client sites in their local market as well as occasional travel to other markets as needed.

Recommended Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of public accounting and/or relevant industry experience.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field, master’s degree preferred.
One of the following credentials is required: CPA, CIA or CISA.
Big Four or large regional public accounting firm experience a plus.
