Hello, my name is Duane Brown; I pastor World Outreach West, a relatively new non-denominational (bapticostal) church in Peoria, AZ. Our goal is to impact our community with a practical, Bible based, message that leads to positive change and blessings in the lives of our members, their families and our community.

The single biggest challenge facing us in really being free and living that way is in the way we think. Have you ever seen a fly buzzing at the window? We all know that the fly is trying to get out. You see the fly can see freedom on the other side of the glass and so goes about banging its head against the window until death in an effort to achieve freedom. You can open a door three feet from the fly but you can’t get it to turn away from that window. If you could, the fly could effortlessly fly to freedom. You see, that’s us. God has set us up to be truly free and often times it’s a matter of learning to think differently so that we can see the route to the freedom He provides. Unfortunately like the fly, most people just continue to bang against the glass.
