U.S. Postal Service Mail Processing Clerk/Mail Processor:



Process incoming and outgoing mail for distribution using a variety of automated mail processing equipment.   Examines, sorts, and routes mail by state, type of mail, etc.  Loads and unloads mail from a variety of automated mail processing equipment.  Candidate will be trained to work on the Optical Character Reader (OCR) - Mail Processing Equipment.






Duties:



Starting and stopping equipment, loading mail, clearing jams, sweeping mail from bins, and performing other related tasks.



 



*Paid Training Provided to all New Hires for first 90 days of employment.*



 



Employment Requirements:


Must Have High School Diploma or GED.


Must be at least 18 years of age. ( OR, 17 with a High School Diploma )


Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident ( OR, Green Card)



Must pass Drug Screening after receiving job offer. 






Salary Base:



$47,965 - $60,365 average pay per year
