Dum Maro Dum first look

Abhishek Bachchan and Rohan Sippy come together again in the forthcoming Bollywood thriller Dum Maro Dum after their mega successful project, BluffMaster. The movie is being produced by Ramesh Sippy. Dum Maro Dum is based in Goa and is about the lives of six Indians whose lives change as they get involved with the drug mafia in the area. The film has Abhishek Bachchan as ACP Vishnu Kamath, Aditya Pancholi as the drug lord Lorsa Biscuta, Bipasha Basu as Zoe, Rana Daggubati as DJ Joki and Prateik Babbar as Lorry. Crime, revenge, rage, sex - are all woven together to create this super thriller!





The movie has been shot in Goa and will be released on 22nd April 2011. Pritam Chakraborty has composed the music for the film. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be seen gyrating to a sizzling item number which is a remix version of the seventies popular track Dum Maro Dum which was sung by Asha Bhonsle and composed by R. D. Burman for the Dev Anand super hit film Hare Krishna Hare Rama. The name of the film also reminds us of this popular track and the film as well which was also based on the drug and the hippie culture that had gripped that decade.
