Cartoon Graphic Artist

What's Your Impact (WYI) is looking for an inspired artist, full of creative ideas, who is passionate about fighting climate change. WYI is an environmental awareness group who's main goal is to inform people about what is going on with global warming and what they can do about it as individuals.





As the graphic artist, your skills will be needed to create unique and creative drawings for GreenWash, our very own cartoon, that will help show people around the world how to be more environmentally friendly. More importantly, your illustrations will be used to teach people how to change their behavior so that they can reduce their impact on our planet.

Job Description:





* Conceptualize graphics required, produce sample storyboard, edit and modify based on feedback from team.


* Produce final high quality still graphics for the GreenWash comic strip within required deadlines.


* Ensure graphics and print designs meet organizational guidelines and standards.





Job Requirements:





* Artistic ability as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles are essential.


* Solid graphic applications skills with programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, etc.


* Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines while managing multiple assignments is a must.


* Communication skills and ability to work well with others.


* Degree or diploma in graphic design with experience in graphic design, print or web design would be an asset.


* Experience with website publishing and support - including basic html and development tools like Dreamweaver is an asset.





Job Location: Montreal or E-Work/Telecommuting
