Campus Placements at SMS Varanasi (Batch 2009-11)

Placement in a good organization is dream of most of the students, after completion of their PG program. School of Management Sciences appreciates such expectations of its future managers, therefore likewise every year, we have again arranged a scheduled and well planned Placement Season divided in two rounds. First round of our placement activities start from the month of October every year and ends by December 31st. Second Round initiates from January onwards to supplement the activities of first of first round. In the same fashion this year also, number of corporate have appreciated student potential of SMS, Varanasi, & visited the institute for Campus Placement purposes. Brief information about happenings till date have been mentioned below:

First Round of Placement

We are swollen with pride to announce that in the first phase of student's placement in various organizations, School of Management Sciences Varanasi invited more than a dozen companies in its college campus. Corporates had given due respect to the students-stuff by giving offer letters to more than 170 students till date. College could invite companies operating in different functional areas including IT Companies, Entertainment Companies, Consumer Durable Organizations, Online Marketing, Securities, Auto Companies.

Most notable placements include selections of students by Kajaria Ceramics, SBI Life, Goodyear India Ltd, SAS Group, Genpact Analytics, People Cyclotron Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Cryobanks International India Pvt. Ltd, Whirlpool, SBI Life, Apollo Tyre, Reliance Retail, Mother Dairy, Glaxo Smith Kline, Beacon Insurance Brokers, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Solvey Pharma, PepsiCo India, Mahindra Finance, Alkem Pharma, Globus Retail, Cease Fire, Goodyear, Green Valley, Alembic Pharma, People Cyclotron, TCI, Indorama & ICICI Securities etc. Companies have selected students for various Managerial positions at attractive packages ranging from three to six lacs per annum.

Second Round of Placement

It is needless to mention that second round of placement has already initiated at SMS Varanasi. Plenty of Companies have taken preliminary rounds of their Placement Procedure. Number of other companies including Religare, Agility Logistics, Citi Finance, Prism Cement and Axis Bank is in pipeline for second round of Placement.
